It hit her head on,
full force, without restraint.
All at once she became bigger than herself
beyond the boundaries of her own body
exploding into space
becoming one with the vastness of the universe.
Edges and lines
can’t, won’t, impossible
no longer existed.
She faced the fullness of her life
felt the potential of her heart
hers and not hers at the same time.
And once it passed,
not over but through her,
she shrunk back down into her body,
her feet planted,
her toes sinking into the ground below her.
She was once again inside herself,
but looked out with new vision
and understood
that this limit is an illusion.
